Digital Art / Drawings / Psychedelic

An illustration I had to produce for one of my classes. We had to pick a text and make an illustration for it... The text I chose is called «Précieux» (precious). I was inspired by Alphons Mucha (my favorite artist) and by Jimi Hendrix (of course! He played like a god!!!). I really like psychedelic art. I find it «hop la vie!», quite amuzing to be honest... I also put the Absynth fairy, but I should have worked on her a bit more... Well, that's it!

I used:
Adobe Photoshop 7.0
Adobe Illustrator CS
HB pencil
Pen (0.05, 0.2 and 0.3)

And a whole lot of music! (Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, The Beatles, The Monkeys and Styx...)

Ah c'est comme emprunté de l'art nouveau, mais changé de façon à le rendre complètement inverse on dirait... Le nom de l'artiste m'échappe... Enfin, peu importe, l'idée est très bonne.

oque empruntaient souvent leurs images et icône de l'art nouveau. Je crois que l'artiste dont tu cherche le nom est Alphons Maria Mucha... Une de mes nombreuses inspirations et mon artiste préféré. Je te conseil fortement de voir ses oeuvres, c'est magique. C'est un trip artistique, mettons. Et l'image est inspirée du texte "Exercices de style" par Raymond Queneau. Ça aussi, c'est à lire!

wow is that a crown of breasts?

i like all the little trippy details, like the bubbling road and how the fairy flows into the bus. the background is really cool too, it reminds me of clockworks. nice job.
